Chip Seal
Chip seals, (aka: tar and chip, oil and stone or armor coat), consists of a coating of heated asphalt followed by a layer of aggregate or chips which are rolled into the asphalt. Chip seals can be used to repair and rejuvenate old pavement as well as enhance the appearance of new hot top with colored chips.

It repairs cracks preventing water from penetrating the pavement.
It provides a highly skid resistant surface.
It is more affordable than paving.
